D Sculptor at Aardman

Aardman produce claymation features of outstanding quality, Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run being two of the most famous examples.

In claymation D Sculptor can be used as a pre-visualisation tool along with (in this case) 3D Studio Max. A 3D model of a clay character is made with D Sculptor and subsequently animated in 3D Studio.

The still on the right comes from such a pre-visualisation sequence (the character is Rocky from the film Chicken Run).
